At least every five years, local boards of health lead a community-wide discussion with stakeholders and residents about their community’s health needs.
Inspections are a "snapshot" of the day and time of the inspection. At the time of the inspection violations are recorded, and often corrected on the spot, prior to the inspector leaving the facility.
In order for a child to qualify for this program, he or she must be 18 years or younger and meet one of the following requirements: Medicaid-eligible, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Uninsured, Underinsured (defined as a child with health insurance, but the benefit plan does not include routine immunizations).
