The OWLS group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10-11:00am at the Jasper County Conservation Office, 1030 W 2nd St S, Newton.  No need to be a senior to attend!  All ages are welcome to these fun and educational sessions!  

October 9, 2019, 10:00am: Urban Fishing: Tyler Stubbs, Community Fishing Biologist with the Iowa DNR, will talk about the Community Fishing Program and urban fishing opportunities in Iowa. He will also offer up some great angling tips!

November 13, 10:00am: Angela Tague from Blank Park Zoo will be sharing about the zoo's community outreach programs

December 11, 10:00am: Evergreen Wreath Making, pre-registration is required by calling 641-792-9780
